Franck embarked on a career in training and consultancy in order to use his experience as a manager and practitioner to train others in the field of learning disability and mental health services. Franck has more than thirty year experience in care and support work, including fifteen years in learning disability and mental health services; eight of which have been in management posts. He has developed and directed a wide range of services, including registered care homes, day centres, adult placement schemes and community services.   He has worked across a diverse client group including: people with profound disabilities and complex physical needs, people with mental health issues, children and teenagers with special needs, adults with complex behaviours and adults with autism. He has also worked with a variety of carer groups. Between 1998 and 2009, he freelanced as a French translator for an international organization networking a global community of women living with HIV and Aids.

All of Franck’s training sessions reflect the principles of valuing diversity, equality of opportunity and inclusion. Franck’s training style has been described as being engaging, interactive and participative. His working methods are varied and designed to maximize engagement and learning.
